Skin Compatibility
All Laura Geller Baked Foundations are formulated for all skin types, including sensitive, mature, combination, and rosacea‑prone skin. They are dermatologist‑approved and carry endorsements from both the National Rosacea Society and the National Psoriasis Foundation. The formulas are lightweight, soothing, and non‑irritating.
- Baked Balance‑n‑Brighten: A marbleized powder foundation baked for 24 hours in Italy, blending self‑adjusting color‑correcting pigments to neutralize redness and brighten dull tones. Offers a soft, natural matte finish that feels weightless.
- Baked Balance‑n‑Glow: Similar to Brighten but infused with vitamin C and subtle pearl for a satin, luminous finish—brightens and enhances radiance without shimmer.
- Double Take Baked Full Coverage: For those needing full, matte coverage. Can be applied wet or dry—wet for higher coverage, dry for lighter. Resists creasing, cakiness, and settling into lines.
Key Benefits
- Light to medium (Brighten/Glow) or full (Double Take) buildable coverage that looks natural and skin-like, never heavy.
- Self-adjusting marbleized pigments help color-correct imperfections and adapt to a range of skin tones.
- Hydrating, non-drying formula with skin-soothing botanicals like centella asiatica, white tea extract, jojoba seed oil, and vitamin C (Glow version).
- Long-lasting wear—no creasing, no migration into fine lines, even on mature or textured skin.
- Dermatologist-approved for sensitive, rosacea-, or psoriasis-prone skin with hypoallergenic, toxin-free ingredients.
- User-loved for delivering a “filtered” airbrushed finish without drying or feeling mask-like.
Intended Area of Use
These products are designed specifically for facial use:
- Ideal for setting bare skin or foundation, balancing complexion across forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin.
- Helps conceal redness, dark spots, and unevenness—not for use on eyes, lips, or body.
How to Use
Light Coverage (Brighten or Glow):
- Swirl a fluffy brush (e.g. Retractable Kabuki) with sleeve down into the powder.
- Sweep across the face, blending outward and upward.
- Layer lightly if needed for more evenness.
Medium Coverage:
- Use the same brush with sleeve partially up for firmer bristles.
- Press the powder gently onto skin in layers.
Full Coverage (Double Take):
- Dry application for medium wear;
- Wet sponge or brush application yields full, longer-lasting matte coverage.
Finishing / Baking:
- These powders can also be lightly dusted over liquid or cream foundation as a finishing step.
Usage Warnings & Precautions
- Avoid applying on broken, inflamed, or irritated skin.
- Patch-test before use if you have highly sensitive or reactive skin.
- Use a light hand—foundation is quite pigmented; too much may look powdery.
- Be cautious not to inhale fine powder particles during application.
- Discontinue use if irritation or allergic reaction occurs.
